Juliana Lattif, our well known Jula, performs in a great band that join the dots between shoegaze, dream pop, and post-punk.

Bloom effect creates through swirling reverb and delay an introspective, fuzz-washed, and melancholic sound led by ethereal female vocals. They join the dots between shoegaze, dream pop, and post-punk.

Spanish and English lyrics describe the emotional push and pull between holding on and letting go; each song speaks about the inevitable experience of loss, love, and growing older in a world that feels alien.

The band performed at notable festivals like Elevate Music Project 2024, Desert Daze Norths (1st Edition), Shinding Festival 2023, Music Waste Festival 2023, North Roads Festival, Car Free Days, and Whole-Lotto-Jams (1st Edition). Their single "Year Zero," released in June 2023, garnered 2500+ Spotify plays and a music video. They featured on DKFM Shoegaze Radio and prominent Spotify playlists, including "New Shoegaze from Canada" and "Female Fronted Shoegaze." Their achievements also include winning the Emergent Artist Development award, providing them with studio time at Barnhouse Studios in Qualicum Beach, BC, recorded in January 2024 to be released on March 2024. Additionally, they were selected for the Foodstock Nights Festival and performed at venues like The Biltmore Cabaret, The Wise Hall, The Fox Cabaret, Lana Louis, and Red Gate Arts Society, solidifying their presence in the music scene.

The band is preparing the release of an EP in the Spring/Summer of 2024.
